So many of you know I've been working on a little side project these past few months.  I'm stoked to announce the launch of my very first indie New Adult romance, SPANISH LESSONS!  The best part?  It's on sale for the first two weeks of its release! Grab your copy here for $.99:

SPANISH LESSONS 800x544

The new cover is totally bitchin', right?

I pitch SPANISH LESSONS as a fun, sexy mashup of ANNA AND THE FRENCH KISS and Christina Lauren's BEAUTIFUL BASTARD series.  It's about an artsy American student and the studly Spaniard she falls for.  There's lots of sangria, lots of dirty dancing (and some Flamenco dancing, too!), and of course plenty of making out in public places.  Really, I just couldn't resist.

The paperback version is coming soon!  It's the first book in the STUDY ABROAD SERIES.  Book #2, LESSONS IN GRAVITY, will be out in March.

Writing SPANISH LESSONS was a ton of fun.  It's actually based on my own study abroad adventures–I spent a magical semester in Madrid my junior year (although I can't say I had super hot Madrilenos falling in love with me…sad face).  The experience was mind blowing, and I've wanted to write a romance about it for a long time.

The STUDY ABROAD series is a bit of a departure from my historicals.  SPANISH LESSONS is still a romance–the kissing, the steamy bits, and the sexy hero are all still there–but this book is a New Adult contemporary romance.  That means that the characters are a bit younger (their early twenties), and the book obviously takes place in modern day Madrid.  This is my first indie book as well–meaning I'm self-publishing this series (more on that later).

I fell in love with Rafa and Vivian, and hope you will too.  Thanks for following along with me on this wild, weird writing journey, and happy reading!

PS – Rafa may or may not be based on this real-life Spaniard, who also happens to be named Rafa.  You are welcome, women of the world.

red the book, I actually pictured Rafa as “that” Rafa – because he is sooo incredibly hot.
Very nice job indeed, I would definitely encourage you to write more on this Rafa character, love him!
